Promise Technology's VTrak E-Class RAID subsystems now qualified with Xsan 2 and Final Cut Studio

MILPITAS, Calif. -- Promise Technology Inc., a leading supplier of sophisticated RAID storage solutions for enterprise and SMB customers, today announced that Promise VTrak E-Class RAID subsystems have been qualified with Xsan 2, Apple's high-performance, enterprise-class Storage Area Network (SAN) file system for Mac OS X, and Final Cut Studio, the industry's leading video production suite. Each RAID subsystem delivers an unbeatable 26 streams of 8-bit uncompressed standard definition video and supports capacities up to 24TB per configuration, starting at just $1.12 per gigabyte*.
