SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- 3Leaf Systems (www.3leafsystems.com), a provider of next-generation virtualization solutions for enterprise data centers, today announced that it has joined the IBM BladeCenter Alliance Program. This confirms the interoperability of the 3Leaf V-8000™ Virtual I/O Server solution with the IBM BladeCenter servers.

“We're happy to have 3Leaf join Blade.org and the BladeCenter Alliance Program. 3Leaf is coming to market with virtualization solutions that take industry-standard server virtualization to the next level, while easily adapting into existing data center infrastructures,” said Dr. Tom Bradicich, IBM fellow and vice president, Systems Technology, for the System x and BladeCenter products. “Coupled with BladeCenter, 3Leaf’s leading-edge solutions will help enterprises increase their resource utilization, simplify management of their IT environments, and preserve their investments.”

“We have worked closely with IBM to fully test our server virtualization solution in IBM environments,” said Bob Quinn, chief executive officer of 3Leaf Systems. “It is important for our customers to deploy a solution that is compatible with their heterogeneous environments, and this new relationship with IBM proves once more our commitment to delivering highly flexible server virtualization solutions for today’s multi-vendor data centers.”
