BK Selects MegaPath

COSTA MESA, Calif. -- MegaPath, the leading provider of Virtual Private Network (VPN) solutions and other managed IP services to businesses nationwide, today announced Burger King Corporation selected MegaPath’s broadband managed services to power its Connect Your W@y Initiative. Burger King Corporation is deploying MegaPath’s Secure Network Services to cost effectively support data communications between its restaurants and centralized corporate resources.

Approximately 90 percent of BURGER KING® restaurants are owned and operated by independent franchisees. As an integral part of Burger King Corporation’s Connect Your W@y Initiative, MegaPath will design and manage an end-to-end solution that incorporates high-speed DSL and secure managed services. The initial deployment will connect more than 500 BURGER KING® franchisees in the United States at the volume-based pricing generated by the combined corporate buying power.
