RICHARDSON, Texas, Oct. 4. Damaka, a technology pioneer in Mobile Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC), today introduced Volga, the first scalable solution to stream video from any smartphone to any smartphone or browser, over any network, including WiFi, 3G and 4G (WiMAX, LTE).

By 2014, over 90 percent of IP traffic will be video. As users create and share increasing quantities of video for both personal and business use, Volga is the ideal platform to record, manage and share this new flood of video content.

The Volga platform features a media server capable of performing live streaming of audio and video media content. Volga offers Media Lifecycle Management (MLM) technology capable of capturing, managing, publishing and viewing digital media in a variety of formats, with the ability to automatically upload selected content to YouTube and Facebook. Volga's rich features including secure communication, content storage, advanced search, rating and management capabilities empower system integrators, social network enablers and service providers to deliver innovative service oriented products for enterprise and consumer users.

"In order to realize the limitless benefits of video communication, it is critical that businesses adopt comprehensive strategies to manage video within their organizations," said Satish Gundabathula, CTO, Damaka. "Damaka's real-time streaming and media lifecycle management capabilities provide an unrivaled opportunity for consumers and businesses of all sizes to record, publish, manage and share video both internally and externally, from any device, on any network."
