Vonage Partners With Motorola On VoIP Gateway

Vonage has announced that it will begin offering the Motorola VT2442 Voice over IP (VoIP) gateway to subscribers this fall.

Vonage has announced that it will begin offering the Motorola VT2442 Voice over IP (VoIP) gateway to subscribers this fall.

Based on the Texas Instruments TNETV1060 VoIP gateway chipset, the device can support two VoIP lines and offers calling features like call waiting, call forwarding and caller ID. The VT2442 also includes broadband router features, including four Ethernet ports and a firewall.

This partnership builds upon Vonage's product portfolio giving customers more choice when they subscribe to our award-winning service," Vonage Holdings Corp.chairman and CEO Jeffrey A. Citron said in a statement. "Motorola is a proven partner with the experience and support to ensure the quality that is essential to our business."

Vonage customers will be able to get the VT2442 gate way directly from Vonage in the fall of this year.
