Siebel Systems Inc. has introduced integration software aimed at the communications, media, and energy industries that creates close links between Microsoft's BizTalk Server 2004 and Siebel software and other applications. Siebel's goal is to increase sales in those industries by reducing the steps for application access when using Siebel software. Meanwhile, Siebel will work with IBM to jointly provide training, services, and promotional pricing to IBM business partners interested in Siebel's hosted customer-relationship-management offering, OnDemand, which was developed with IBM.
