PredatorWatch announced today at the RSA Conference and Expo in San Francisco that its Auditor Enterprise security management software is now available on IBM's eServer BladeCenter.
Auditor Enterprise is the same software that runs of PredatorWatch's own Auditor series of network security appliances. It dynamically scans the user's network for common vulnerabilities and exposures (CVEs) that account for the vast majority of security breaches. The software logs all network connections by wired and wireless devices and can respond to threats automatically. When a CVE is detected, Auditor Enterprise notifies a network administrator and quarantines the offending device by cutting off its access to the Internet at the firewall.
The software port is part of IBM's ":security in a box" strategy for the eServer BladeCenter. The BladeCenter combines servers, storage and network devices in a compact, modular chassis featuring calibrated vectored cooling. The solution can be bundled with a range of security software, including a firewall, virtual private network and intrusion prevention software as well as Auditor Enterprise.
"Auditor Enterprise is a great fit for IBM's 'Security in a Box' concept," PredatorWatch president and CEO Gary Miliefsky said in a statement. "Combining our security and vulnerability management solution with other Linux-based security applications provides an integrated infrastructure that allows customers to easily deploy and manage the security component of their network IT infrastructure."
