NEC has signed an agreement with Level 3 to become a preferred provider of customer premise equipment (CPE) fulfillment services to Level 3-enabled partners in North America who resell Level 3's (3)Tone Business VoIP service.

Under the agreement, (3)Tone Business resellers will gain access to NEC's enterprise IP communications products (including equipment from Cisco Systems, Inc., Polycom, Inc. and others), and professional services such as site surveys, IP assessments, implementation and installation, and monitoring and management.
