WiredRed has enhanced its e/pop Web Conferencing system with record and playback capabilities that can capture not only videoconferencing sessions, but also complete Web and desktop-sharing sessions, including audio, multiparty video, application and PowerPoint events. You can save and edit sessions in Macromedia Flash, Windows AVI and QuickTime formats, as well as limit edit rights to guard against plagiarism and regulatory violations. Avocent Corp. DSView 3

Avocent's new DSView 3 software, which runs on the company's DSR switches, lets you securely access and control your servers and network devices from a single interface. With DSView 3's virtual media support, you can remotely load software by mapping a local removable media or mass storage device to a remote server. The product allows for management of Avocent CCM console-management appliances for serial connectivity, giving admins control of KVM over IP, serial over IP, IPMI, external power devices and virtual media.
