Authentication Lab: Configuring TACACS+ and RADIUS

In this series of videos, David Bombal shows you how to configure both authentication protocols for network access control.

Cisco networking products support two prominent security protocols that can be used to control access in networks: RADIUS and Cisco Terminal Access Controller Access-Control System Plus (TACACS+). While RADIUS uses UDP, TACACS+ uses TCP. In the five videos below, David Bombal uses Cisco Packet Tracer to configure authentication using both protocols. Authentication is one component of authentication, authorization and accounting (AAA).
