SecureZIP Enterprise Edition, PKWare

As the number of enterprises getting toasted by data leaks grows, IT pros are turning to PC encryption. However, encryption can be thorny to manage. SecureZIP Enterprise Edition 11, which encrypts files on the desktop and e-mail attachments, aims to simplify policy management and provide greater flexibility of encryption methods. A Microsoft Management Console snap-in lets admins centralize security-policy configuration. Admins also can enforce simultaneous use of digital certificate-based and passphrase-based encryption. The product enables automatic encryption of attachments in Microsoft Outlook. Files encrypted with SecureZIP are also compressed to help preserve disk space. Pricing starts at $49.95 per user.
