New suites provide an additional level of defense against the current generation of rapidly spreading viruses.

Panda Software launched a family of network anti-virus products for enterprises at the Consumer Electronic Show yesterday. BusinessSecure, BusinessSecure Exchange and EnterpriSecure all incorporate Panda's TruPrevent technology to provide an additional level of defense against the current generation of rapidly spreading viruses.
Rather than rely on definitions that may be published too late to deal with particularly virulent viruses like Sasser and MyDoom, TruPrevent is designed to detect unknown threats by analyzing the behavior of programs running on protected systems and watching for potentially threatening activities, and shutting them down without the need of direct human intervention. TruPrevent also detects malicious network packets and exploits with a 'hands-off' firewall, while providing buffer overflow protection and security policy definition features.
Panda's corporate applications also include the more traditional ClientShield protection against known types of malicious code, spam and spyware, and a range of features specific to network servers and file sharing. The FileSecure and SambaSecure modules provide on-demand protection for Windows servers and SMB shares. According to Panda, the products feature a simple, intuitive interface for security management. Moreover, the software is designed to be highly scalable, permitting the administration of several installations from a central AdminSecure control panel.
BusinesSecure and BusinesSecure are intended for small and mid-sized businesses, while EnterpriSecure is targeted at large corporations and features anti-virus protection for Microsoft ISA servers, Lotus Notes and Domino, and Linux SMTP servers. Pricing for BusinesSecure is set at $86.04, and the vendor suggested price of EnterpriSecure is $131.93.
