UXcomm inked a deal this week to buy the assets of Virtugo Software, a maker of service level management tools for corporate virtual server environments.

With the acquisition, UXcomm picks up Virtugo's enterprise-focused VirtualSuite products, which can track and tune the performance of thousands of virtual machines to support service-level objectives, the vendor said.UXcomm, which has trained its sights on the integrator market, is essentially buying software it can use to target business customers that need to better control both their physical and virtual servers.

UXcomm said it will retain a number of Virtugo employees. It also inherits a number of large corporate clients including Amtrak and Blue Cross/Blue Shield.
