DURHAM, N.H. -- The InfiniBandSM Trade Association (IBTA), a global organization dedicated to maintaining and furthering the InfiniBand specification, today announced the 15th Compliance and Interoperability Plugfest. The Plugfest will take place April 20-24, 2009 in the University of New Hampshire’s Interoperability Lab. The event provides an opportunity for InfiniBand™ device and cable vendors to test their products for compliance with the InfiniBand architecture specification, as well as interoperability with other InfiniBand products.

This event will include testing of both double data rate (DDR) devices and quad data rate (QDR) devices. There are new test procedures for QDR active cables along with a new test procedure based on Wave Dispersion Penalty (WDP). This event will also include new interoperability test procedures for all cables. The Plugfest is open to all interested InfiniBand vendors. A special fee applies to non-IBTA Members.
