Written for Database Administrators, IT Security Engineers, Database and IT Security Managers, and IT Auditors, the book provides readers with a step-by-step approach to securing both existing and newly installed Oracle databases. In addition, the book details how users can implement industry-recognized best practices to alleviate information security concerns and bolster compliance.
“The increase in enterprise data breaches, coupled with demanding compliance initiatives and regulations, has forced organizations to carefully examine their existing security strategies. With more and more attacks now targeting the database level, implementing comprehensive security has never been more critical,” said Aaron Ingram, Manager, Software Development, Application Security, Inc. “Josh and I have written a practical, step-by-step guide to implementing database security. By breaking that process into manageable activities, we’ve established a best-practices process that allows readers to prioritize and measure their progress toward overall security, risk mitigation and compliance goals.”
