NEW YORK -- Workshare, the global leader in secure content compliance, today announced support for Microsoft Windows Vista and the 2007 Microsoft Office system across its entire product line. Workshare is delivering new capabilities across its entire content compliance suite, including Workshare Protect and Workshare Professional.

This support will deliver users of the 2007 Microsoft Office system and Windows Vista with:

Discovery of compliance risk through direct integration of Workshare's Protect policies with Microsoft Enterprise Search, creating an automatic compliance and privacy risk rating for all indexed content.

Enhanced Information Leak remediation and incident management utilizing the 2007 Microsoft Office system and Windows Workflow Foundation.

Delivery of regulatory policy updates via Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.

Enhanced document protection and control via policy integration with Windows Vista Rights Management Services and SharePoint Server 2007.

Integration with the 2007 Microsoft Office system ribbons, Windows Vista gadgets and other new user interface features, improving user productivity and reducing product training time.

"Microsoft is taking a huge step forward in how users can safely and efficiently interact with business content," said Joe Fantuzzi, president and CEO of Workshare. "We are excited about working with Microsoft to deliver content control, compliance and risk mitigation tools necessary to manage a new generation of business communications. With the majority of content compliance violations coming from knowledge workers, Workshare solutions can reduce this risk without negatively impacting the overall user experience in Microsoft Office applications. In addition, we are able to exploit the new capabilities of the platform to do this faster and better, while allowing our customers and partners standard and straightforward ways to extend our solution."
