New SMB-oriented packages of high-speed Internet, phone, and TV services are available to customers of Verizon, and some of them come with bonus features. The bundles are built around either the fiber optic-based FiOS Internet or the High Speed Internet (HSI) services. In addition to the package offers, the speed of FiOS Internet has been bumped from 25 Mbps to 35 Mbps -- that's symmetrical, so it's the same speed for upload as for download. HSI for Business speeds are 1, 3, or 7 Mbps downloads, with uploads slower.
Verizon customers with FiOS Internet for Business services can add on unlimited local and long-distance calling plus more than a hundred channels of FiOS TV in a "Single Line PAK triple play," starting at $130/month. HSI for Business customers with 3- or 7-Mbps plans can add more than thirty-five channels of DirectTV plus the unlimited calling for $120/month and up. "Double play," or two-service, packages are cheaper, and all require a three-year commitment.

Verizon is throwing in a couple of attractive bonuses with the bundles, too. Packages that include at least Internet service and unlimited phone service qualify for one of two add-ons: either a toll-free number with no monthly charges (usually $15) for 12 months, though the customer still has to pay 3 to 12 cents/minute usage fees; or a Verizon Internet Security Suite plus 25 GB of online storage with the standard $9/month fee waived for 12 months.
Other discounts are available as well for bundles with multiple phone lines. These bundles are offered to new customers, but existing Verizon customers can take advantage of them as well if they upgrade their current services or add a new product.
