Tibco, TimesTen Address Real-time Application Management

TimesTen will integrate its real-time infrastructure software with TIBCO Rendezvous, a real-time, high-performance, scalable messaging software platform for e-business infrastructures. Mountain View, Calif.-Times Ten also will integrate its software with future releases of TIBCO Enterprise Message Service software, an implementation of Java Message Service (JMS).

TimesTen said its collaboration with TIBCO enables a tightly integrated environment for real-time publishing of database updates and real-time transaction processing over a TIBCO messaging foundation. TIBCO said its customers will have access to an alternative data management solution to drive increased performance.

The collaboration was driven by opportunities in the financial services and global wireless service provider markets, where users were looking to boost the performance of customer- and network-facing applications, such as trading systems, billing solutions and customer care.
