FAIRFAX, Va. -- TEOCO Corporation, the leading supplier of revenue and cost management solutions to communications and entertainment providers, today announced that it has expanded its high-volume analytics and business intelligence capabilities with the acquisition of another data warehouse appliance from DATAllegro, supplier of data warehouse appliances that lead the industry in price and performance. TEOCO has also been selected by a Tier 1 communications provider to deploy TEOCOs SONAR analytics solution to drive cost management, revenue assurance, and margin enhancements.

The new appliance will be housed in TEOCO’s data center in Sterling, Virginia and will provide 120 terabytes of storage space, expandable to 200 terabytes, making it one of the largest capacity data warehouse appliances ever sold. The new appliance will not only support existing customer commitments, but provide the cornerstone for growth of TEOCO’s analytics and business intelligence activities.

“Efficiently analyzing and auditing massive volumes of high-value business data is a top agenda item for communications and industry executives in 2007,” said John Devolites, Vice President and General Manager of TEOCO’s Communications and Entertainment Solutions practice. “Our SONAR solutions and market-leading technology from DATAllegro gives carriers access to a robust, scalable solution that allows rapid access to mission-critical information and supports effective and targeted decision-making. Our selection by one of the largest U.S. carriers to drive critical components of their analytics program validates the strength of TEOCO’s SONAR solution and DATAllegro’s technology.”
