Symantec announces comprehensive solution for the health care industry

MIAMI -- Symantec Corp. (Nasdaq: SYMC) today announced the Symantec Healthcare Provider Solution, comprised of products, services and best practices With the rapid growth of information and interconnections between hospitals, clinics, physician’s offices, universities and other entities, IT infrastructures are being pushed to the limit. Symantec is giving its healthcare customers the confidence that their critical systems and information are protected, improving the quality of patient care and helping them comply with regulations governing the securing and availability of patient data.
