Solix Names New VPs
Appoints Craig Bradley as sales VP, Greg Duplessie as VP of strategic alliances, and Prasada Pyala as VP of engineering, SAP Solutions

SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Solix Technologies, a leading provider of enterprise data management solutions for compliance and information lifecycle management, today announced three seasoned executives have joined the Solix executive management team from EMC Corporation, a private consulting firm for the storage industry and SAP. Craig Bradley, vice president of sales, joins Solix from EMC and is responsible for driving business development and revenue through both direct sales and channel partners. Greg Duplessie, vice president of strategic alliances, joins from a private consultancy firm that provided executive-level business consulting to companies such as Compellent and InMage Systems, and is responsible for establishing strategic relationships with technology partners such as NetApp and IBM, as well as building Solixs indirect sales channels. Prasada Pyala, vice president of engineering, SAP Solutions joins from SAP’s Governance, Risk and Compliance business unit and is responsible for enhancing Solix’s solution offerings for SAP.

Craig Bradley has devoted the majority of his career to building emerging technology markets that help customers protect and manage their corporate data. Craig has extensive leadership and management experience working at startups like WordPerfect, Crossroads and CommVault to industry moguls like Lotus and EMC. A team player, Craig will utilize all his experience to work with System Integrators, VARs and Industry market makers to help enterprise, government and mid-small business customers to understand and implement these emerging market products. Together with channel and industry partners Craig will manage the Solix sales team to bring real information lifecycle management to Solix customers thru Solix enterprise data management products. Craig is based out of Austin, Texas.

Greg Duplessie has held Business Development positions for leading technology companies including Neartek, sold to EMC in 2006, and Permabit where he ran business development and established strategic partnerships with StorageTek and Hitachi Data Systems. Greg has served as a key member of several high technology consultancies, including Ridge Partners I, New England West, Enterprise Strategy Group, and Invincible Technologies. Greg is based out of Portland, Oregon.“The merger of Solix’s database tools with storage technologies, such as replication and secondary storage, greatly improves our end-user’s ability to quickly implement compliance and ILM strategies,” said Duplessie. “This is an emerging market that will only continue to gain momentum and I am excited to join Solix whose strong vision and execution will quickly make them leaders in this space.”
Prasada Pyala was Vice President of Engineering for Virsa systems and was instrumental in growing Virsa’s business from only a few employees to over 300 employees globally which was later acquired by SAP. Following Virsa’s acquisition by SAP, Prasada became Vice President of Product Development at SAP. Prasada is a working board member of the Indian American council - Confederation of Indian Industry and holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and communication Engineering from Nagarjuna University in India. Prasada is based out of Sunnyvale, California.
