Sepaton names Fidelma Russo as executive vice president, engineering and development

MARLBOROUGH, Mass. -- SEPATON, Inc., the leader in high-performance data protection solutions, today announced the appointment of Fidelma Russo as executive vice president of engineering and development. A highly-regarded technologist skilled at driving strategy and innovation, Russo will lead SEPATONs engineering organization and oversee the continuing technical advancement of its innovative ContentAware™ software architecture for intelligent data protection.

With over 20 years of experience in servers, storage and the data center, Russo brings extensive expertise in all aspects of software product development strategy and execution. During her career she has held executive and senior management roles with HP, Sun Microsystems, EMC, Digital and Data General.

Russo will report directly to SEPATON President and CEO, Mike Worhach, “Fidelma’s proven record of developing products for some of the world’s most recognizable technology power-houses combined with her practical approach to managing high-performance engineering teams further strengthens our product development group.
