Revinetix Announces Upgrade

SALT LAKE CITY -- Continuing to offer the most comprehensive enterprise-level storage solutions to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), Revinetix announces the release of its RevOS 2.4 data protection software supporting SQL Server Agent for Microsoft® SQL Server™ 2005. RevOS data protection software is specifically designed for Revinetix’ Sentio rack mount data protection appliance and Volo desktop data protection appliances.

This latest capability provides more convenience to SMBs as they can now eliminate the task of saving the SQL database to a disk for transfer to the backup appliance and can now perform direct backups automatically with no extra manual steps. RevOS also enables the administrator more freedom of choice to specify and schedule the type of backup required – full, incremental, or only new changes made to the database.
