Miralink Corp. today announced a remote data mirroring appliance that provides small to medium-size businesses (SMBs) with real-time data protection.

Called the MiraLink 400, the product is designed to help small enterprises cost-effectively meet their business continuity, disaster recovery and compliance goals by allowing them to make an exact copy of their vital data anywhere in the world.

The MiraLink 400 appliance allows SMBs to mirror data to an offsite location without disrupting their existing infrastructure. It can also be used as a primary storage device. Designed to be easy to use, the product provides secure remote administration through an SSL-encrypted GUI, and works with any database or personal productivity package.

The MiraLink 400 is available immediately, and is priced starting at under $5,000.
