MILPITAS, Calif. -- Promise Technology, Inc. today introduced the latest 3U form factor successor to its VTrak(TM) M-Class series of products. The new VTrak M610p is a 3U/16-bay rackmount RAID that provides direct-attached storage connectivity through Dual Ultra 320 SCSI host channels. The M610p replaces the original M500p, providing an additional drive bay and high performance RAID 6 reliability. The mature parallel SCSI interface is ideal for Small to Medium Businesses (SMBs) deploying direct attached storage for business critical applications.
