DENVER -- Today, at the Microsoft World Wide Partner Conference, PreEmptive Solutions, the leading suppliers of Enterprise Obfuscation Solutions for the Microsoft .NET environment and Java, announced Dotfuscator Gold – the newest member of the Dotfuscator product family. Dotfuscator Gold is the first comprehensive obfuscation and instrumentation platform that protects, analyzes and monetizes .NET applications. Instrumentation is the highly specialized technique of injecting code into compiled executables to improve security, optimize performance and increase functionality without the cost and complexity of additional programming.
A major component of Dotfuscator Gold is the inclusion of Microsoft Software License and Protection Services (SLP Services). SLP Services includes powerful licensing, activation and code protection services offering application developers a means to effectively protect and monetize their applications.
“PreEmptive Solutions has been the premier supplier of obfuscation technology to .NET developers since Dotfuscator was originally included in Visual Studio 2003.” said Thomas Lindeman, Group Product Manager, Software Licensing and Protection Services Group, Microsoft, Inc. “PreEmptive Solutions has successfully expanded its commercial customer base to include thousands of enterprises serious about protecting their .NET applications. We are very pleased that they have partnered with Microsoft to integrate with our new SLP Services and provide an end to end licensing system to software publishers with Dotfuscator Gold.”
In addition to including Microsoft SLP Services, Dotfuscator Gold enables application owners to inject tamper detection, defense and notification services as well as application analytics that provide near real-time visibility into application adoption, feature usage and user behavior.
“Applications hold tremendous value for both developer and consumer organizations,” said Gabriel Torok, PreEmptive Solutions’ president. “For the first time, application stakeholders will be able to effectively protect, analyze and monetize application assets with little or no programming and with agility to keep pace with constantly changing business and technology priorities.”
