Pillar Names New President

Pillar Data Systems announced that its chief operating officer, Nancy Holleran, has been promoted to the role of president of the company

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Pillar Data Systems, a leading provider of enterprise storage systems, today announced that its Chief Operating Officer Nancy Holleran has been promoted to the role of President of the company. Holleran retains her title as COO, as well.

Holleran joined Pillar in 2001, as the companys No. 2 employee. As co-founder, she has not only helped grow the company to more than 500 worldwide employees, but has also developed and grown the core departments within Pillar, including human resources, legal, finance, manufacturing, purchasing, and IT. She has also built a team of executives and organizations to support professional services, customer services, and call centers.

In her new position, Holleran will be responsible for aiding in the overall direction of the company through strategic development of programs, and will further hone the corporate structure. Holleran will also aid in the implementation of corporate goals and the further development of the product roadmap.
