Supermicro collaborated with Permabit to build the latest generation of Permabit Enterprise Archive systems. The family of massively scalable, capacity optimized, disk-based archive products are now powered by advanced Intel Dual Core XEON processors. The Supermicro based Permabit Enterprise Archive systems enable a 100% performance increase over prior generation systems, improved power efficiency and dramatically improved reliability. The Permabit Enterprise Archive system is an integrated appliance leveraging industry standard components delivered in a grid configuration. The latest generation integrates seamlessly with earlier versions, so current and new customers alike can take advantage of the advancements..
