SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- Njini, Inc., a pioneer in policy-based Network File Control and Management, today announced at this weeks Storage Networking World Conference its participation in the File Area Network (FAN) working group, an industry-wide collaboration to define the FAN concept for future adoption by the storage industry standards committee.

"Njini is delighted to be a founding member and active contributor of the FAN working group as we help chart the course of this industry initiative that we believe will benefit customers significantly, as they struggle to manage and control the rampant growth of unstructured data within their organization," said Phil Maynard, Director of Product Marketing of Njini. "This dynamic group is made up of some of the most well-respected and influential players in the storage industry, yet it is small enough to work quickly and efficiently while encouraging creative and open discourse."
