Network Engines changes name to NEI to reflect expansion of services, market growth, and acquisition

CANTON, Mass. -- Network Engines, Inc. (NASDAQ: NENG), a leading provider of server appliance products and services for storage, security and communications software vendors, today announced its new corporate identity: NEI.

The new name and logo is designed to reflect the firm’s “Go Forward” strategy and unify the employees of Network Engines after its recent acquisition of Alliance Systems,” said Greg Shortell, NEI president and CEO. “As the industry’s leading pure-play provider of high value-add appliance solutions, NEI has fused its core strengths to better deploy product with best-in-class ALM (Appliance Lifecycle Management) services and back-office logistical support.“
