MINNEAPOLIS -- MMIC Technology Solutions Inc. has become the exclusive partner with CFC Technology, Plymouth, to provide a data backup and recovery solution to physician practices and clinics within the MMIC market. The SafetyVAULT Solution from CFC Technology replaces the need for manual backup to tapes and improves data recovery time for Windows®, Novell® based systems, Unix® and Linux® operating systems.

"The SafetyVAULT™ Solution provides the level of functionality and security that our healthcare clients require to ensure that their data is protected. Practices will be able to recover quickly with a local data archive and an offsite data backup in the event of an equipment failure or a complete disaster," says Steve Heimel, vice president, MMIC Technology Solutions.

The primary focus of the SafetyVAULT™ Solution is automated data backup and recovery. The solution is able to do local restores down to the file level within minutes while not having to deal with tape backup and all the responsibilities of verifying, encrypting, swapping and transporting tapes. It frees up staff time and eliminates courier and physical storage costs.

"MMIC Technology Solutions is an ideal partner for us because of its in-depth knowledge of the technology needs of today's medical practices and the strong focus the company places on data security protection, which is evident in now offering the SafetyVAULT™ Solution to its customers," says Dan Sanderson, vice president technology, CFC Technology Corporation.
