LeftHand Networks names two IT veterans to executive staff

BOULDER, Colo. -- LeftHand Networks today announced the appointment of Raju Bopardikar to serve as the company’s Chief Technical Officer and the appointment of Larry Cormier to serve as Vice President of Marketing.

Bopardikar has a strong background in distributed systems and virtualization software, with significant expertise in software development. As Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Bopardikar will play a key role in advancing LeftHand Networks’ technology and contributing to the future vision, positioning and evolution of LeftHand Networks’ successful portfolio of SAN solutions. Prior to joining LeftHand Networks, Bopardikar was a technology innovator and founder of several companies including Stone+Wire/Discreet Logic, Cereva Networks and TrueNorth Networks.

Cormier brings more than 20 years of experience in technology marketing and executive leadership to his role as LeftHand Networks’ Vice President of Marketing. In his new position, Cormier will be instrumental in positioning and advancing the company’s highly available, open iSCSI SAN solutions and virtualization technologies. Prior to joining LeftHand Networks, Cormier served on LeftHand’s Executive Advisory Board, and most recently served as Senior Vice President and Business Development at Scentric and Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at CommVault Systems.
