BT Global Services awarded a contract worth up to $10 million to Intelliden for the firm's policy-based provisioning, activation and configuration management software. The software will support the rollout of BT's next-generation ICT platform, known as BT Transform.

BT officials say they will use Intelligen's solution at the network level to support the creation and deployment of new services at the strategic business level. Intelligen R-Series solutions will allow a real-time utility business architecture to be deployed at the same time that the software optimizes network resources, streamlines processes and enforces business policy at the network operations level.

It should also eliminate the need for many manual changes that could introduce communications-blocking errors.Enterprise customers -- especially large, multi-site organizations -- are the target market for BT Transform.
