InferX awarded patent for distributed data mining andcompression method and system

MCLEAN, Va. -- InferX Corporation (OTCBB: IFRX), a leading data analytics and security risk firm whichprovides the most advanced technology and screening process availableto protect the U.S., announced today that the U.S. Patent andTrademark Office has approved the issuance of a patent for thecompany's Distributed Data Mining and Compression Method and System. It was filed on July 10, 2003 for essential components of InferX'sflagship product, Distributed Data Analytics Platform (D2AP).

D2AP offers a new generation of technologies for a network-centricapproach to pattern discovery from dispersed data. The key benefit ofD2AP is that the entire enterprise data can be analyzed at its localpoints of origin, facilitating near real-time analytics to meetcritical mission needs. In addition, by keeping the data where itresides, the approach addresses the ownership, privacy, and securityconcerns of the organization or enterprise.
