Gateway Touts Two-Hour On-Site Tech Support
Gateway has launched a two-hour response on-site technical support service for its enterprise products.

Stranger than fiction? On Halloween, Gateway launched Thursday a two-hour response on-site technical support service for its enterprise products.The tech support is actually done by IBM Global Services, which Gateway first partnered with in August when it debuted next business day and four-hour turn-around for tech support. Gateway customers within a 50 mile radius of nearly 70 U.S. metropolitan areas are eligible for the faster service.
Gateway's two-hour support is available to customers who purchased any of the Poway, Calif.-based PC maker's enterprise systems line, including its servers and external storage devices.
The by-subscription tech support service will be available 24/7, including holidays, said Gateway.
