CHICAGO — The DSL Forum unveiled a suite of technical reports at Supercomm that will help accelerate the forum's DSLHome initiative.

Launched last year, the DSLHome initiative was established to define specifications and security standards for establishing home networks that distribute DSL pipes around the home.

On the specification front, the DSL Forum released three new reports for carriers and CPE developers. The first is a CPE configuration specification, called TR-064, that facilitates consumer self installation. The second spec, called TR-068, provides a base set of requirements for an ADSL modem sporting routing capabilities.
