FCIA and SNIA ANZ collaborate to deliver the latest developments in Fibre Channel

SAN FRANCISCO -- The Fibre Channel Industry Association (FCIA) and the Storage Networking Industry Association for Australia and New Zealand (SNIA ANZ) today announced an alliance aimed at collaborating on Fibre Channel educational and technical programs.

The two industry associations in concert will share and evangelize the latest advancements on Fibre Channel technology, such as Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE); 8 GFC; port virtualization; fabric application; APIs; inter-fabric routing; security and future enhancements.

"Our partnership with SNIA ANZ is a natural extension of our ongoing worldwide collaboration with the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA); we are delighted to have the opportunity to directly reach users in Australia and New Zealand," said Skip Jones, Chairman FCIA.
