Expertise on Office Communications Server 2007 brings new capability for EMC customers

HOPKINTON, Mass. -- EMC Corporation (NYSE: EMC), the world leader in information infrastructure solutions, today announced that it will offer technology solutions and expert consulting in support of Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 to provide customers with a security-enhanced, scalable, and highly available integrated communications infrastructure.

EMC’s Microsoft specialists within EMC Global Services are already engaging with customers on early Office Communications Server 2007 projects, including planning and design, technology pilots, and full-scale deployments. When combined with EMC’s expertise on such applications as Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, and Microsoft SQL Server 2005, EMC is able to interoperate with a customer’s Microsoft-based communications infrastructure to add new end-user capability and increase operational efficiency.

These deployments are further supported by EMC proven solutions for Exchange Server 2007 and SQL Server 2005, which provide a predictable, scalable and mission-critical infrastructure, ensuring successful deployments of Office Communications Server 2007.
