Evaluation Particulars

What Do We Consider Appropriate for This Review?


To be qualified for this review, we will only consider products offering Document Management functionality with XML (Extensible Markup Language) support. The Document Management system must include a tightly integrated records management component. The user interface to both document and record management must be available from standard PC clients supporting MS-Windows and Web browsers.

Real-World Labs Review CriteriaAll products will be reviewed based on the answers provided to the attached Request for Information. We will judge products based on the following criteria:

  1. Document management

  2. Integrated records management component

  3. Implementation (e.g., integration, security)

  4. Regulatory Compliance

  5. Price

The review will take place in our Syracuse University Real-World Lab and will be based on the particpant's answers to a Request for Information (RFI) developed for a fictitious company. You can view our RFI (in PDF format) here.
