ATLANTA -- The CWNP Program, the industry standard for wireless LAN training and certification, today announced that work has been completed on the second edition of the best-selling CWSP Official Study Guide. The CWSP second edition book contains the latest information for IT professionals on how to secure wireless networks.

Introduced in 2003, the CWSP certification has helped IT professionals to advance in their careers and to make their organization’s wireless networks secure from hackers. The new study guide not only helps IT professionals pass the challenging CWSP exam, but teaches them what they need to know about securing wireless networks. The updated topics in the new edition include changes in how hackers attack, wireless switches as they relate to security, Wireless Intrusion Prevention Systems, protocol and spectral analysis, and, most importantly, 802.11i.

“We’re extremely excited about the release of this new book,” said Kevin Sandlin, CEO and co-founder of the CWNP Program. “Wireless security continues to be big news, and is often a concern for organizations. This book helps IT professionals fix those problems. It is a must-have for every network engineer’s bookshelf, whether they have wireless installed or not.”
