SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Coyote Point Systems, Inc. announced its new enterprise-class Equalizer Series E550si, the first server load balancing and application traffic management system in its class to integrate a best-of-breed feature set for Web application delivery in a 21-port Gigabit Ethernet switch configuration. The new Equalizer E550si complies with the European Union's stringent Reduction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) guidelines and is part of an entire environmentally responsible product line from Coyote Point.

With performance up to 100-percent faster than Coyote Point's award-winning E350si, the new Equalizer E550si is capable of supporting 512 servers per virtual cluster, with unlimited clusters, and up to 100,000 connections per second. New features in the Equalizer E550si include SNMP support with alerts, dynamic ports for complex network applications such as those used in ERP and CRM systems, full NAT functionality and support for internationalized websites.

"Coyote Point is a trusted partner with top-notch people who know server load balancing and application traffic management inside and out," said Mike Lauth, President and CEO of iXsystems, a leading provider of high-performance computing clusters and an authorized Coyote Point VAR in North America. Like other Coyote Point products, the new E550si promises fantastic performance at a great value."
