Covelight Makes Announcements

CARY, N.C. -- Covelight Systems, innovator of real-time application-independent online management solutions, today announced the Inflight Intelligence Engine™ (IIE), which enables the use of real-time events for business applications.

The Inflight Intelligence Engine (IIE) passively captures raw user transactional data, transforms it into useable events, and feeds it to analytic and operational decisioning engines including, Business Intelligence (BI), Complex Event Processing (CEP), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), and Web Analytics.

Covelight’s IIE is able to provide detailed information on user transactions by monitoring Web applications, a business’s front door — where users enter and interact with a business — allowing immediate action to be taken. Enterprises can use the real-time output of IIE in conjunction with an analytics engine to halt fraudulent behavior in process, up-sell a customer based on their session activity, enhance business, and/or log user activity for regulatory compliance.

BOSTON -- Covelight Systems and StreamBase Systems today announced a new strategic partnership to empower high-volume, low-latency processing and analysis of online data and events for applications, including Business Intelligence (BI), web analytics, performance monitoring, fraud detection and protection, and prevention of identify theft. This alliance combines Covelight’s real-time, application-independent online management solutions with StreamBase’s real-time and historical Complex Event Processing (CEP) software. Ultimately, the partnership delivers a sophisticated new class of CEP business applications for ensuring data security and enabling businesses to react in real-time to online activities. These applications can be prototyped and built in as little as a few hours to days and process data at rates greater than 500,000 messages/second.
