SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- 3Leaf Systems (www.3leafsystems.com), a provider of next-generation virtualization solutions for enterprise data centers, today announced that it has been selected to the Byte and Switch exclusive “Top 10 Start-Ups to Watch” list. The honor is bestowed upon ten upstart organizations, demonstrating innovative and unique solutions for ongoing storage issues. Final selection of the Top 10 list is based on extensive reporting and discussions with users, analysts and suppliers. This industry recognition follows the recently released Network World “Top 10 Virtualization Companies to Watch,” where 3Leaf was also one of the top technology innovators as chosen by the publication.

Talking about the 3Leaf strategy of streamlining the utilization of x86 servers, which often lack high availability and reliability, the article states that the “3Leaf's V-8000 Virtual I/O Server aims to improve this profile by creating what the start-up calls a Virtual Compute Environment (VCE) using commodity x86 servers.”

“Taking in consideration the publication’s objective perspective, it is great to see Byte and Switch recognize the importance of server virtualization, and consider us an innovator and a leader in this space,” said Sash Sunkara, co-founder and chief business officer of 3Leaf Systems. “We launched the company and our solution earlier this year, and it is exciting to receive industry recognition and gain market traction so quickly.”
