TORONTO -- Opalis Software Inc., the market leader in IT process automation software, today announced the availability of Opalis' integration with CA AutoSys Workload Automation, a solution for accelerating the design and delivery of complex workload processes leveraging event-based automation and dynamic critical path analysis. The new Opalis Integration Pack for CA AutoSys release incorporates CA AutoSys workload automation tasks with other aspects of IT operations, resulting in faster IT operations and increased IT efficiency.

Through the integration, application processes being managed in CA AutoSys can be leveraged in response to problem and change management, service center events and exceptions, problem tickets, and remediation requests to increase production timeframes, increase system availability, and manage risks for enterprises. The Opalis Integration Pack for CA AutoSys allows users to trigger CA AutoSys workload processing from a variety of external systems events and can convey data from CA AutoSys to other enterprise systems for additional automated actions. In combination with Opalis, workflows can monitor the status of CA AutoSys jobs and take automated diagnostic and corrective actions for CA AutoSys failed jobs while generating Service Desk tickets in response to those job status indicators.
