TORONTO and SLOUGH, U.K. -- Opalis Software, the Run Book Automation (RBA) market leader, and Logicalis, a leading international provider of integrated Information and Communications Technology (ICT) solutions, have signed a partnership agreement enabling Logicalis to provide Opalis' RBA solutions in the UK, either project-based or as part of a managed service. Logicalis joins Opalis' Partner Advantage Program as its newest enterprise partner for Opalis in Europe. The solution will further enhance Logicalis' Data Centre and ITIL offerings in the UK.

Opalis' RBA solution delivers automation through innovative orchestration of IT processes, thereby reducing the manual repetitive efforts that are burdensome, wasteful, and error prone, yet must be done by IT to ensure enterprise grade operations. Opalis' solution is based on a scalable architecture, broad IT workflow automation capabilities, an easy-to-use administrator interface for modification of pre-existing workflows or creation of new ones, and extensive integration capabilities for hundreds of IT management and provisioning products. For customers employing ITIL, Opalis offers automated enforcement of ITIL processes and a user-friendly dashboard for reliable and compliant reporting.

"Opalis is the clear leader in this market, both in terms of the maturity of its business and in the design and delivery capabilities of its solutions,"said Tom Kelly, managing director, Logicalis UK. "Over the next 12-18 months, we will see integration and automation of IT operations widely adopted into the mainstream. Logicalis intends to be the de-facto partner for organisations looking to deliver cost-effective high-quality IT services 24x7."
