Juniper, NetClarity Handle Vulnerabilities

LAS VEGAS -- NetClarity, a leading provider of vulnerability management products and services, announced the availability of a proactive endpoint vulnerability management solution at the Juniper Networks, Inc. J-Partner Summit, April 30-May 2 in Las Vegas. At the event, NetClarity will demonstrate how the combination of its AuditorT Enterprise vulnerability management appliance and the Juniper Networks Firewall/IPSec VPN security device enable IT organizations to proactively scan, identify and protect against viruses, worms, spyware and other emerging threats.

Attendees of the J-Partner Summit can test NetClarity's non-invasive network security solution. By plugging their laptops into NetClarity's private tabletop network, attendees will see first-hand how NetClarity's Auditor Enterprise and Juniper Networks' Secure Services Gateway (SSG) Firewall/IPSec VPN work hand-in-hand for proactive endpoint vulnerability management.

Auditor Enterprise will automatically scan the laptops for common vulnerabilities and exposures (CVEs), which are the root cause of over 95 percent downtime and out of compliance issues (Source: CERT). The Auditor Enterprise appliance will then produce a report that shows the holes that need to be fixed and how to fix them.
