SAN MATEO, Calif. -- Tablus Inc., a leading provider of comprehensive content protection solutions, today announced the availability of Content Sentinel 2, designed to provide businesses with the enhanced reporting functionality needed to determine if the organization is compliant with data protection standards and to help prioritize information at risk. The Content Sentinel 2 content protection product builds on the performance and ease of use customers have come to expect in Tablus products and adds a new "Risk Trends" feature to assist busy security executives and line of business leaders in measuring their overall corporate compliance progress over time. In addition, a "Top Risk Snapshot" feature helps organizations prioritize potential compliance violation remediation actions.
"Digital Insight carefully evaluated the marketplace before deploying the initial release of Tablus Content Sentinel as another layer of security within our data center," said Scott Mackleprang, vice president of security and compliance at Digital Insight, Corporation. "Content Sentinel met our requirements for the protection of sensitive data stored on our equipment. We have seen continued growth in the performance and ease of use of the product since its development and the addition of the 'Top Risk Snapshot'feature to Content Sentinel 2 allows us to prioritize our resources based on the highest threat to our organization."
As the leading on-demand banking provider to mid-market financial institutions in the United States, Digital Insight serves more than 1,750 financial institutions, 6.7 million consumer end users and 108,000 business end users.
Risk Trends
Busy security executives responsible for their company's overall regulatory compliance must quickly determine if the entire organization is meeting the industry and government policies for data security. Line of business leaders must also be able to evaluate their specific business unit's security performance over time. Content Sentinel 2 offers a new Risk Trends feature specifically designed to provide these compliance professionals with a breakdown of potential risks, allowing them to easily determine how their organization is performing in comparison to the company's violation history.
Top Risk Snapshot
Content Sentinel 2 assists organizations in using their limited resources most effectively by utilizing a "Top Risk Snapshot" for the prioritization of potential remediation actions. Risk profiles spanning the entire enterprise give a road map of the most serious violations so issues that will have the biggest impact can be addressed. This feature can also be used to identify groups that have the most policy violations so that additional compliance training can be scheduled.
"Evolving industry regulations and greater public awareness around the need for data security have created a challenging environment for today's enterprises," said Anne Bonaparte, president and CEO of Tablus. "Regulators and customers demand that organizations adopt best practices in data security as part of a complete security profile. This means that companies must take proactive measures to find and protect sensitive information. However, the variety of mechanisms through which enterprises share data make it difficult to enforce information retention policies. Content Sentinel 2 allows organizations to obtain a comprehensive compliance view of the entire enterprise, helping them to prioritize both remediation actions and resources."
