DENVER and REYKJAVIK, Iceland, Aug. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Secure64 Software Corporation and Men & Mice today announced a joint marketing agreement that will provide U.S. government and international customers with a completely integrated IPAM and Domain Name Security Extensions (DNSSEC) signing solution. Through this agreement, customers in the United States, Europe and other parts of the world will be able to utilize Secure64 and Men & Mice solutions to quickly and easily implement IP Address Management (IPAM) with automated support for DNSSEC signing.
Men & Mice will support Secure64's FOSE award-winning DNS signing software appliance, Secure64 DNS Signer. Secure64 is the only company currently offering a deployed DNSSEC software appliance that fully automates DNSSEC key generation, key rollover, zone signing and re-signing processes.
DNS security is a critical IT issue, and an OMB mandate requires that all U.S. federal government agencies deploy DNSSEC by December 2009. DNSSEC addresses vulnerabilities in DNS, a core Internet infrastructure, making it an open target for cyber threats. The recent July 4th cyber attacks demonstrate the continuing vulnerability of the U.S. government's technology infrastructure.
"We are really excited about the opportunity that this partnership represents," remarked Men & Mice CEO Jon Kristjansson. "It is a rare occasion that two innovative companies have such a complimentary product offering. The combination of the Men & Mice Suite and the Secure64 DNSSEC automation tools will enable far better Internet security, and make implementation of DNSSEC less of a challenge for organizations worldwide."
Secure64's DNS Signer product will be supported by The Men & Mice Suite - a management software solution built to meet the challenges of DNS, DHCP and IP address management in large computer networks. It provides a sophisticated management layer for the existing DNS and DHCP infrastructure integrated with advanced IP address management capabilities.
