SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- i365, Inc., A Seagate® Company (NASDAQ: STX), today announced an extended portfolio of products and services that address a comprehensive range of recovery requirements for data and mission critical systems. These solutions address different needs for file, application, server and site recovery, and offer customers the choice of attached, virtual, onsite or remote solutions with the flexibility to choose software, Software as a Service (SaaS) or a managed service deployment.

Small to Mid Size Businesses (SMB) and remote offices within large organizations are refining their data protection strategies to apply different recovery policies to different levels of data, which allows them to respond with more flexibility and greater cost efficiencies. The expanded portfolio of EVault™ Data Protection solutions enable customers to meet a wide range of Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) with flexible, integrated solutions that best suit their business requirements.

According to the ESG Research Report, Data Protection Market Trends, January 2008, 58% of midmarket organizations said they could only tolerate 4 hours or less downtime before experiencing significant revenue loss or other adverse business impact. An additional 31% had a tolerance window of between four and twenty four hours.

“Our customers entrust their important data and servers with our on-demand data center and web hosting services. We cannot afford to lose data,” said Justin Scott, technical assurance specialist with SoftLayer. “i365’s flexible recovery solutions, such as EVault Real-Time Protection, give us near continuous backups of mission critical systems while providing fast, flexible and comprehensive restores without disrupting our existing EVault Software nightly backup.”
