LAS VEGAS -- Voyence, the only company to provide automated, closed-loop network configuration management for both service providers and enterprise customers, today announced support for Riverbed Technologys Steelhead® wide-area data services (WDS) appliances. The new functionality enables Riverbed customers to gain in-depth device change and configuration visibility, while automating the process of aligning Steelhead appliances with government IT mandates such as SOX, PCI, HIPAA and other compliance requirements.
The new support enables a seamless data exchange between Steelhead appliances and the award-winning VoyenceControl platform, allowing IT professionals to automate the manual collection process of change and configuration instances.
“It’s imperative to gain and maintain consistent visibility into user access and maintenance procedures associated with all network devices — if not, the consequences can be devastating,” said Darren Orzechowski, vice president of marketing, Voyence. “The support of VoyenceControl with Riverbed’s offerings, effectively enables constant visibility, with an additional level of security and IT compliance adherence for Steelhead appliances.”
“Since we launched the Riverbed Technology Alliance (RTA) in late 2006, the program has seen tremendous acceptance with leading storage, networking and application vendors,” said Venugopal Pai, senior director, alliances at Riverbed. “Voyence’s membership in the RTA and support for Steelhead appliances enables both companies to offer customers a complementary and compelling solution that addresses the dual concerns of simplicity and compliance.”
